Sometimes I Wonder … Update

May 20th, 2008 Posted in All About Me No Gravatar

My friend Eve (who looked after me when I was growing up at the RSPCA) contacted TBU  today with some important news. We now know my Mum was a Blue Heeler. I have seven other brothers and sisters somewhere. Six of them are Blue and one other is lucky to be Red like me ! :dogtongue2:

Eve said I was very fussy as a young pup, and it took me a long time to find the right family to adopt me. :dogblush:

She believes my Dad was  … wait for it … drum roll please … a Labrador ! :dogohmy:

So that means:

Like My Mum + Like My Dad = Me

Yeah right !  That’s sorta like saying 1 + 3 = 7 !! :doghuh:

Anyway, so that’s why I am such a cool dog.  I have the style of a Heeler and the nature of a Labrador ! :dogcool:

Now …. where’s something I can chew on ?

What’s that? A new Bunny!

New Bunny

You mean it’s for me?

HH Giving Me My New Bunny

This is fun …

Enjoying The Bunny

Bunny? Bunny ?

Really Enjoying The Bunny

Aww … poor Bunny!

What Happened to Bunny

Well that was quick – that only took me 10 minutes ! Now, where’s the next thing I can chew on? Does anyone know of any toys that can handle the Charlie Daniels treatment? I mean ones that will last longer than a few minutes? My Kong is good until I can get the treats out of it, but what am I supposed to play with when it is empty?

TBU keeps talking about finding me a spare car tyre … but that sounds boring!

My mom won’t buy me stuffies anymore. I chew them up in 5 seconds flat!

Kong’s are so boring when the middle goody is gone. Have you tried the tug a jug?

I’ve had one for about a YEAR now!! It’s still intact and fun too!

Crikey a labrador, we would never have guessed that. We’d love to know what Lucy is mixed with. You’re so lucky someone could tell you all about yourself.

Well hello to you as well Charlie! I am so excited to have my first doggie friend, until I get all my shots Mom and Dad must keep me at home but hooray for the internet! I see you are a Red Heeler mix as well, but I think we’ve been mixed with different things! Well, it was very nice to meet you, sniff on back any time!

Heeler + Labrador…does that make you a Heel-ador or a Labra-heel? Either way, you sure are a cutie. PetCo and PetSmart have some small tires made for doggies that are almost indestructable. They come in several sizes. Or…our mom has started buying us toys at yard sales so she doesn’t feel so bad when they only last a few minutes.

    Aire-hugs,
