Meet Boof . . .
June 9th, 2008 Posted in At PlayToday I got to meet my cousin (via human link) for the first time. His name is Boof. He is eleven years old and lives with Uncle Grizz, Aunty Snail-Lover and Miss Chatterbox. They have a big backyard that is lots of fun to explore.
When I first met Boof I thought he wasn’t very keen on me being in his yard
and then he surprised me. I didn’t know he was entering into the 2008 Summer Paw-Limpics too! He sprung this new wrestling hold on me!
We were soon exploring the yard and having lots of fun …
We even jumped in what Uncle Grizz calls “The Swamp”! This was the longest time I had ever spent in the water other than when it is bath time!
Although Boof was good to play with, sometimes I just wanted to be by myself ’cause it felt like he continually wanted to do the “vertical folk dance” on my back! TBU kept telling me Boof wasn’t trying to become overly friendly with me and that he was just trying to show me that this was his yard and I had to do what he wanted me to …
So I did some exploring by myself
then had a lay down to think for a while …
It suddenly dawned on me … Hey Boof, come over here and lets try out for the “Synchronised Gardening” event for the Paw-Limpics! It took me a while to get Boof to hold his pose, then I had to get back into position before he moved again!
With all the formalities over with, we decided it was time for some tug-a-bone. This was the biggest bone I had ever seen … and Boof didn’t seem to want to share it with me! I mean, it was big enough for both of us … or at least that’s what I thought !
It wasn’t long after then that we headed home. Guess what I did as soon as we got home? Yep, you guess it … sleep ! Good Night !

Hi Charlie
Gosh, Boof’s colouring is very similar to yours. He looks like a great wrestling partner and very energetic for an eleven year old.
Hugs and tail wags

Isn’t it great to a relative to play with? I know Louie and I have so much fun playing together.. In the water is the best when it is hot outside…

I think that chew bone was plenty big for Boof to share. Maybe chewy stealing should be a paylympic event too? I’ve been practicing…
