You’ll never guess …
July 8th, 2008 Posted in All About Me, At Home, YouTube
Today was one of those frustrating days where I try to keep myself entertained, yet seem to get in trouble all the time. You see, today is the day the Truck Driver Man comes up my driveway. This means I have to stay inside for most of the day.
I have had days like this before, but at least this time Moo, Pumpkin and Chook are home on school holidays, so that means until the Truck Driver Man has been I can only go outside on leash ’cause The Gates are open.
I managed to keep myself entertained by stealing socks, a hat direct from Pip’s head (the little boy from next door who came over to visit), killing a draught stopper snake (you know those things you put under doors to stop the breeze coming underneath) and shredding several newspapers. All of which didn’t seem to be appreciated by My Bi-Peds.
HOWEVER, did I get a surprise tonight! I still don’t know why they left it so late to give it to me. Did they expect me to look really excited when I had been asleep?
You see, the present I won over at Jackson’s Place arrived in the mail today. I won a competition there by guessing how long it took Jackson to destroy his new toy. My prize was a Leo Extra Treat Release Puzzle Toy AND some YUMMY DeliBones Barkery Treats!
Thanks Jackson. This is the bestest present I have ever received. In fact it is the only present I have ever received from beyond The Gates!
Below are some pics and a video of me opening and playing with my new toy, and enjoying a treat!
For the record, it took me 14 minutes to inflict some damage !!!
Here is the moving picture version …
I’m sleeping with a smile on my dial tonight! Thanks Jackson.

Hi Buddy, what a generous prize!
Next time them Bi-Peds of yours are sleeping, see how many attempts it takes them to get up.
As for that adolescent one, Moo, get him when he’s engrossed in one of his favourite activities!
My Mum loved watching your video, she thinks your one cool fella.

It certainly took you a long time to get that present open. You must have really been tired. It was worth it though..
Louie says thank you for the Birthday wishes.

HI CD…
hahahah. I got one of those Leo toys, too. I see that you are as smart as I am—I’ve heard ACD’s are real bright. We both figured out the EASIEST way to get Leo to release the treats is to simply bite it’s head off. No fooling around, right mate
I say, “If you want a job done right, go to a herding breed.”
Thanks for the paw up about my shows. I did my job, am right proud of it, but now it’s time for mud, streams and sticks.

Hi, Charlie!
I guess it took more time to woke you up and open the package than you to destroy that toy!
Good job!

Hi Guys!
Alise here from Canine Genius (the makers of Charlie’s new Leo toy). We Loved the video – fabulous and funny! I wanted to let you know that you can slice the neck from the Leo toy if it is a bit too tempting to chew-up (looks like Charlie is nibbling it away ). Once you slice the neck off the toy is still a treat-release toy, you just can’t stick into another Leo. The body is super-thick and the nibbling should cease . Also if you crumble his treats a bit smaller then he will have an easier time getting them out and be less likely to try to chew through the toy.
We are so glad that Charlie is having fun with his Leo. We made them for our dogs and it makes us very happy to know that other dogs love them also!
Take care!
Alise ; )

Charlie – you are a rapid destruction engineer! I am considered to be a good one too, but you are much quicker! It’s more about finding the weak spot…right? And you’ve got an IQ of 170, I guess!
It “was” a very nice present:) I hope you get many more of these!

Guess What!!??
I showed Jenny (my blue heeler neighbor) your picture and now she wants your phone number! She was a little concerned that you lived so far away, but I told her not to worry; we can borrow mom’s cell phone!
