The Kid is doing okay …

Well it certainly has been interesting times since The Kid arrived on my doorstep yesterday. I have been showing him around and trying my best to make him feel comfortable. You know, the usual stuff …
I took him outside this morning and asked him if he wanted the guided tour of My Yard.
He agreed, so we headed off on the tour. Being the upfront kind of guy I am, and having thought about it most of the night, I decided I would see whether he could be trusted, so I took him to one of my favourite hiding spots.
Only time will tell, but so far I reckon he is a boy of his word. Mind you, he’s not learning too many of my secrets! At one stage I thought he wasn’t paying very close attention …
So I sat him down, and just reinforced that this is My Yard and he is only a visitor. After all, I can’t have him thinking that he can just do what ever he wants!
He seemed to be okay with that, so I scheduled some play time. Hey! He is only a little fella (well for now anyway) and young dudes can’t concentrate for very long. Here is the moving picture if you wanna see!
Afterwards, he thanked me for taking some time to help him fit in. That was really nice of him.
Yeah, I reckon he can hang around for a little while. But ONLY a little while!
Sadly, TBU has to go back to work tommorow. I have really enjoyed spending the days with him for the last 3 weeks. I hope they don’t work him too hard and he will still have time to help me with the computer so I can get around and visit all my friends. So, just in case that doesn’t happen, I will come and play with you as soon, and as often as I can.

Geez, we disappear for one day and we come back and you’ve gotten a roomie, Charlie! The Kid is kinda cute! He’s also very photogenic! He’s going to learn a lot from you!
