Cold Snap …

October 22nd, 2008 Posted in At Home No Gravatar

So much for Spring. It’s freezing cold and worse than that, we have been stuck inside for most of the day.

There is only so much you can get up to on days like this, so I figured I would revise the lessons on tennis ball peeling and Stuffie destroying. He’s getting the hang of the tennis ball skinning but there seems to be an issue with Stuffies!

I am almost ashamed to say it, but The Kid seems more intent on kissing and cuddling those things. This is sooo not right. Here I was thinking it was all making sense to him, but it now turns out he was trying to save them all along!  :dogwacko:

Xavier
For the Record – The Stuffie is 38cm long

Oh the shame! Are my days of instructing over? No! Not yet! Another couple of days of lessons and maybe there will be hope for him. If not, I’ll probably pull my own fur out in frustration.  :dognowink:

By this afternoon I was totally over it.

I dropped in front of the heater …

Charlie getting warm

The Kid dropped on Moo!

Now, before anyone asks … NO that isn’t My Lounge. That is a completely different chair!  You don’t really think I would give in that easily do you?   :doghuh:

Mum is driving herself crazy looking for that Guinness Ad now, she prides herself on being able to find anything.. I think you may have actually defeated her!!

It was cold today, wasn’t it! Soaks and I were left out in the cold… Lucky we have our warm coats! But we got a little wet.

Don’t worry about The Kid – he’ll get the hang of skinning stuff in no time!

I hope that stuffy hugging isn’t a genetic defect and you can train him out of it. What would his new humans think?

The little guy just wants to snuggle.. Louie thinks he is still a lap dog and has to have his “Mom time” as dad calls it.. Callie also tries to sit really close to mom but Louie is really jealous… He is a momma’s boy..

Anyways, me and the Midget think the kid is awfully cute, don’t ya think? How long is he gonna hang around trying to steal your stuffies? Hey, maybe he’s not leaving!! He’s settling in for a cold winters nap, he he.
Ya know it was 90 degree here today in California? I’ll send some heat your way.

Doesn’t he look adorable? But that’s not the point! He should be destroying them. I think he’s not a dog…
