I’m still here …
November 17th, 2008 Posted in All About Me, At Home… and so is Shorty!
I really can’t understand why nobody has even enquired about Macca. He’s actually not a bad little fella … even if sometimes he can’t keep his mouth shut and tries to give away all my secrets! Sometimes I just have to cover his mouth, so he doesn’t blab everything …
But it’s good to see he knows where his place is while he is staying at My House!
Of course he doesn’t have to sleep there all the time. Sometimes I help him feel comfy so he can have a good sleep …
That’s usually after we’ve had a bit of a rumble on the floor with Moo …
… or after we’ve been outside investigating why the ground is turning purple!!
I’m really sorry I haven’t been around to visit everyone for a while. TBU tried to use some pathetic excuse that he has been too busy to help me use the computer, and HH has had her hours drastically reduced at her Day Hunting Job, so if anyone knows of anyone in need of a fantabulous Marketing/Promotions wiz, please send them our way!
I’ve been thinking what I can do to help … in fact I’ve been concentrating so much lately, one day I couldn’t even decide whether to finish off a stuffie in one go, or maybe just leave it in less than a dogtrillion pieces for a while!
Hey! Guess what I am doing here?
Do you recognise those bars in front of me? I am actually watching something really exciting take place! The stoopid council finally agreed to allow for the removal of the “Widow Maker” from The Pool Yard!
See !
That’s the tree dude way up high taking the tree down bit by bit!
That means I am allowed in The Pool Yard again … and that also means I have a new job …
… Pool Patrol! After all, someone has to make sure My Bi-Peds don’t drown!
I hope I can get around to visit you all again sometime soon. Until then … please dont’ forget me!

Welcome back Charlie! Mom and I were worried about you. We thought maybe Macca had taken you all hostage or something. Sounds like you’ve been busy yourself. Looks like Pool Patrol is your thing, nice lifeguarding skills you have there. Uncle Brett says Australians make great lifeguards. Come visit when you can!

Pei-Ess, why is the ground going purple?

Macca deserves to go to a good home where someone will love him unconditionally. It’s usually not that easy to rehome a dog. Sometimes it can take up to a month or longer or sometimes, no want wants to adopt the dog at all especially when it’s a mixed breed or a pure mongrel. I don’t know about your country but in mine, most Malaysians prefer Pedigrees than mixed breeds. It’s sad. And most Malaysians love FREE dogs & I mean free Pedigrees too. So so sad. But if they are considering in adopting a mixed breed, they would go for the cute ones only. Well, I guess you’ll just have to be patient. It’s important that he goes to a good home. We’ve had a lot of cases where people pretend to be good, caring owners but then when the dog is handed to them, they mistreat it or just tie it outside 24/7. So very sad. That’s what happened to our previous dog, our Akita named Chantelle. We miss her so much & it was our mistake to not evaluate the new owners properly. We now have another Golden with us, so this time we are going to be extra, extra careful. We really hope that stinkified Macca finds a new home soon but in the meanwhile, let him enjoy his stay with you guys. Hee!

I think my ground is going to turn white soon. But it’s never been purple! What color does it turn after you’ve weebled on it?

Hi Charlie! Good to hear from you!
As for Macca–it would be no surprise around here, don’t know if it’s the same in Australia. Black dogs are notoriously hard to adopt out. In fact, there are *black dog rescues* dedicated just to them. Good luck to him. He certainly deserves a good furever home.

I can’t believe how lovey dovey you are with that little guy. You are just a giant smoochie face.
Glad the swimming pool has re-opened and that you are on life guard duty. You know, Macca looks like the kind of little pup that might enjoy a swim.

Good to hear from you again, Charlie! Of course we didn’t forget you. We know what it’s like to depend on hoomans for our secretarial work.

Hey Charlie,
We’re surprised that Macca hasn’t found his forever home yet. He’s so cute.
We understand about the humans. Our Momma doesn’t even have a good excuse. She does have one excuse but she’s been too lazy to post the video about it.

Crikey Charlie,
These pinkies are always too busy to help us blog. Mine is very busy at work and she stays in Sydney one night a week to visit her mum so we’re behind with visiting everyones blog too…..sigh.
Looks like you’ve had some nice weather up your way. It’s rainy here this week.

I am glad you are now getting pool time! That old widow maker is gone and has opened your world. I hope you get to swim in it!
