We both look really excited don’t we? Little Jasper is a bit depressed because Layla left today to start her two week trial at what I hope will be her forever home.
I’m not depressed at all … well not that I would admit to anyone anyway … I’m just lucky that I have another reason to be sad so I don’t have to admit to depression!!
I’m feeling a bit unwell and very dopey, ’cause HH found a Paralysis Tick in my paw today when she was doing my daily Tick check. She managed to get it out in one piece, but it looked like it had lodged itself there just after she did my Tick check yesterday, so it had plenty of time to start pumping it’s bad stuff into me!
I’ll be okay soon … it will just take me a while to get over it …

Ewwww! Ticks! Momma hates doing tick check because she might have to actually remove one and they totally freak her out! I already caught the lyme disease, TWICE and had to be rushed to the hospital. Hope you survive. Nasty buggies down under, eh?

Charlie man, those damn ticks are after you, aren’t they?!!!!! The Hoomies have us on Advantix and do tick checks daily – thankfully they have never found anything on us!!!

Ahhhh – ticks! I hate ticks, especially paralysis ticks. I almost dies from one of those a couple of years ago – never been the same since. I hope you feel better real soon! Australia’s a nasty place; every time you turn around there’s something poisonous waiting to bite you in the bum!
