I think I might know where Molly came from before she came to stay with me. I think she may have been a secret member of the Ian Cult. You do know about the Ian Cult don’t you?
I was starting to think that maybe Molly wasn’t all that bright … I mean she just seems to follow me around all day and and only wants to do things that I do … but after today I have changed my mind …
Anyway, back to the Ian Cult. Somewhere beyond the gates to the outside world, which look like this …
… are groups of dogs that have secret gatherings to discuss things that interest them. Some of these groups are called Magic-Ians, or Music-Ians, or Physic-Ians, or Electric-Ians …
Today, Molly wanted to prove to me that she had actually been a member of two of these groups.
She challenged me with an almost Oorvi type puzzle that went something like this. If there were two dogs to begin with, how many dogs would be secured in My Yard if you made two of them vanish?
Apparently this was a popular topic of discussion at the Mathematic-Ian group meetings!
To help me figure out the answer, she decided to show me something she had learned while associating with the Magic-Ian’s …
Please take a closer look at the gates that protect us from the outside world.
See how there is a carabiner securing the lock on the gate, so it can’t be opened without removing the carabiner first? And … how there is also a heavy concrete block at the base of the gate making it really hard to move the gate!
Well … somehow … Molly managed to magically get us both through that gate. So, can you guess how many dogs were remaining in My Yard afterwards???
I think something went wrong with her magic though! Maybe her skills have become a bit rusty since she left the Cult … ’cause unless Molly also has a really warped sense of humour … I doubt she intended for us to end up here …
Maybe I was right all along … perhaps she really isn’t that bright after all !!
I mean … I know us Aussie’s are proud of our convict heritage and all … but fair dinkum … the jail cell wasn’t the best place to be!
I am sorry, and would like to formally apologise to My Bi-Peds for any trauma WE may have caused them when they came home and we weren’t there to greet them in the usual manner.
I am sorry for Pumpkin who ran around the streets in the rain looking for us. I am sorry for Moo who almost missed footy training because he was so upset, and I am sorry for HH & TBU who were a long way from home (trying to find My New Home) when Pumpkin called them!
Finally, I would like to say that Microchips for Dogs are a good thing.
It’s good to be home again!

Oh dear, Charlie! I think that Molly is a bad influence on you!!!!! I don’t think she has studied enough magic, otherwise she would have been able to beam you both back home out of that jail place. Glad you were found though! Your Bi-Peds must have been SO worried!!!!!!

How in the Ian Cult did you two manage to break out of the yard and end up in jail? Do you know how lucky you are you are back home again? Just about anything could have happened to you, none of which we can think of would have been good. Stay home!
