Random …
September 17th, 2009 Posted in At Home, At Play, Days Out, MollyHi … it’s me … Molly Daniels … look into my eyes and I will take you on a journey …
It’s my turn to help with the ‘puter, and as I am now starting to get the swing of my new home, I am going to show you some random pics you probably haven’t seen before …
It has been unusually hot here lately … winter has only just ended and today it was 32C (89F) … what’s up with that? Normally it would be around 20C (68F). The other day we got an ice-cream each … it was very yummy.
In this photo you can also see how all the grass has died off because it has been so hot!
Well …. I’m sure the heat had something to do with it …. I mean .. I couldn’t possibly have dug that many holes could I? Charlie told me the yard used to be completely covered in grass once … it must have been cooler then!
This is what the ground looks like now…
Apparently those funny shapes on the ground set up some sort of magnetic force field that draws the grass up out of the ground! We were told we shouldn’t lay on it otherwise we could get stuck to the ground forever!
This is a shot of Charlie sitting at the back door staring at the ground – trying to figure out how those shapes got on the ground …
You can see how the magnetic force field from those shapes is drawing the “Super-Charlie Powers” out of his eyes.
This was when Moo was playing with us in the yard. See how we are all chasing the ball? I am sure Moo did some magic … ’cause I still can’t figure out how he managed to throw it into Charlie’s mouth!
Besides, the plant in front of us was telling me to look the oher way!
This was when Charlie was posing for the Concretors Calendar Competition. I don’t know why, cause we don’t really know anyone who works with concrete … I think maybe he was making it up just so he could have his photo taken again!
On hot days at he beach, I have learnt you shouldn’t look directly at the camera …
… and Charlie wanted me to show you this picture, cause he reckons it makes his back leg look a bit weird! What do you think?
They aren’t like my lovely straight legs are they!
Hey … can you guess how long it takes to walk to to the end of the sand you can see in the top left of this picture?
Last night we spotted an Owl in a tree in the back yard. I think the tree was feeling the effect of the Magnetic Field from the shapes on the ground … it was glowing for some reason!
When I wake up from a nap on the lounge, I like to stand like this for a while. I don’t know why I do this!
It’s probably got something to do with me not being able to feel my legs after Charlie has been lying all over me.
Charlie found a football when he was out walking with HH the other day … he looks so proud of it doesn’t he?
He didn’t want to share it with me … he can be like that sometimes!
But, it’s ok ’cause I got a stuffie of my own the other day and I didn’t share it with him either!
Did you know these birds laugh at things? Well this particular Kookaburra was laughing at Charlie ….
Why?
Because it was stinking hot … and Charlie wouldn’t go into the pool! I think Charlie is worried he won’t be able to get out of the pool again if he jumps in. Pumpkin was trying to show Charlie that’s what the steps are for. I was trying to push Charlie in!
Oh yeah … I forgot to show you this one before. When Charlie wouldn’t share is newly found football … Moo tried to use some “ancient martial art” force on him … it didn’t make Charlie share the football .. but it did make my eyes glow!
And lastly ….. My Bi-Peds couldn’t figure out why the Wisteria seemed to be vanishing bit by bit over night.
I have proof it wasn’t me …… can you see me anywhere in this photo?
By the way …. nice spots Charlie!
I think he did a good job!
Molly Daniels …. Out !

Hey, Charlie & Mollie…
Thanks for my birthday greetings. I’m working on getting even more spoiled than usual today.
I envy you with you nice summer to look forward to. It’s getting colder and colder here in the northern hemisphere. Can I maybe borrow your polka dotted coat for the winter?
And I’d like to help sort out that strange thing on the ground that’s over the tufts of grass. I think it wants to eat your paws, so stay off of it!!!
Your pal,
Fenway

Hi, Molly!
Good job!
Thanks for showing us your activities!
I can see you and Charlie have developed special powers!
I hope Charlie’s leg does not cause him much pain!

That was a whole lot of action and nice to see the other side of things. Gosh, sorry that he puts his big self all over you during nap time. At least you recovered OK.
Yeah, his leg does look kind of wonky in that photo.
I bet you are glad you have that most revealing photo of Charlie gardening. Otherwise they might have blamed YOU! Imagine.
Slobbers,
