Back on Earth …

September 24th, 2009 Posted in At Home No Gravatar

We had a bit of a sleep-in this morning … ’cause we went for a late night walk last night (or was it very early this morning?).  After being locked inside all day yesterday, HH decided we still needed to go for a walk, so we set off sometime after midnight … TBU didn’t seem as enthusiastic about the whole deal, but came for the walk with us anyway!

It was still hard to breathe ’cause the Martian Atmosphere was still hanging around … but it was good to get some exercise!

So … as soon as we were allowed outside his morning, Molly and I immediatley checked the sky to see if we could see the sun today …

Charlie & Molly

We could see the sun and that was really good … but we could hear a strange whistling sound … so we quickly ran to check the rest of the yard and see if we could find out what it was. We also need to do a quick patrol to make sure the Martians hadn’t stolen anything when they invaded yesterday.

Charlie

Everything seemed to be there … but we could still hear a strange noise … so we raced back towards the house … and all of a sudden … bones fell from the sky!  We were being rewarded for being so patient yesterday!

Molly

Look how Molly holds on to her bone so tightly when she chews it.  I am sure she thinks I am going to steal it from her!

Charlie

I’m not that scary am I?

I am so glad the bad sky cleared up. Now there will be lots of dusting to do I am sure.

Yeah, Charlie, you are the big grouchy old man so I bet you are scary. I think it is good if your siblings are a little afraid of you.

Phew! Glad you’re all ok. Do you think the Martians made the bones fall from the sky? If they did, do you think they might want to come my way? I’ve never had a bone fall from the sky before.
