My back legs have been really hurting lately … For a while I thought they were getting better … but now they just hurt most of the time.  

I should tell you straight up … this post is mainly about me …  so there will be lots of pics of me and not many of Molly!  

I have still managed to go out exploring when ever HH & TBU find the time to take me … but I am very sore when I get home … sometime I even find it difficult to stand up when I have been laying down for a while!  

I am only two and a half years old … I shouldn’t hurt like this already should I?  

HH & TBU were thinking of maybe getting an AdiCell treatment for me … but it looks like it may cost too much money!  

Has anyone heard of any reports for this treatment, or know of anyone who had had it?

Anyway … as I was saying before … I still manage to go exploring …

The last time Molly and I went, our friends Roy and Lilly came with us … and guess what?  This time those Big Dog Things were in the paddock … and Molly just couldn’t resist staring at them …

That is Lilly you can see in the front .. I have no idea what she was staring at!  

But I made sure I kept an eye on her … I mean .. those Big Dog Things are much larger than her …

… and when she got a bit too close to them, Roy and I had to chase them away!  

Of course Molly is much bigger … so I didn’t have to watch over her as much.

Oh yeah .. before I go … I must tell you about something I didn’t actually see … because we weren’t allowed to go … but recently … when Disco Dynamo drove TBU, Moo, Pumpkin and Captain Redneck to see this …

…  they noticed a Horse caught in a fence … so Disco Dynamo and Captain Redneck (who both work for TBU & HH) immediately stopped the car and came to the rescue!   

I am very proud of them for doing that.

Oh!  and one more thing … sometimes … when we have been really good … we are allowed to come into the bar when it is closed at night … and sit by the fire!  Oops .. I mean check that everything is secure!  

We do a great job don’t you think?

I love my new pyjama coat HH made me. She makes the best coats.  It is really soft and and warm and I have the best dreams when I wear it.  Luckily for me it is still really cold here, so I get to wear it again tonight!  

In other news … I did some detective work today … when Molly and I were out in the yard … and I caught Molly eating some not quite ripe Mulberries that had blown over the fence from our neighbours tree … and guess what?  She is a little bit windy again tonight!  No where near as bad as yesterday … but maybe she had a lot more of them yesterday!

I wonder if this means we might get lamb bones again?   

Did you read a couple of days ago where Molly told you about  me helping her sleep by blocking the light for her?

Well … Molly helps me out too … you see .. I have been told that I snore when I am asleep … and sometimes it disturbs My Bi-Peds when they are trying to watch  the giggle box.

So … Molly places one foot on my neck and another on my nose … this way she can control the pitch of my snoring and somehow actually play doggy tunes … if she wants high notes she squeezes my neck … and if she wants low notes she presses on my nose …

If she wants me to stop … like when My Bi-Peds complain … she just kicks me!  

For everyone who commented on my fancy footwork on the stairs (yesterday), that is a style I have developed all by myself.  Nobody showed me how to do that … and I am very proud of it! 

Actually, due to my dodgy back legs, that is the only way I can get down the stairs … 

In other news … HH & TBU are still searching for our new home …

See that big place with the green roof near the clock?  That may be our new home … but I can’t tell you anymore yet, just in case I jinx the whole thing!  

But I can tell you this … everyone who sent their accommodation deposit for the last place that never happend … I will make sure it is honoured for this place … so when you all come to visit me I can ensure you have a place to sleep!

Oh! … and there is actually cattle there … like what am I supposed to do with them?  

It seems like HH & TBU have been searching forever … I hope this one comes through soon … otherwise our food supply will run out!  

Molly is now officially a part of the family … and in her honour I have allowed TBU to change the name of this blog from “A Dog Named Charlie” to “Charlie & Molly Daniels” … of course my name still comes first ’cause I have been here longer than her … but from now now .. this will be the story of OUR lives! 

To celebrate this huge occasion,  I asked My Bi-Peds if we could take her to Lake Macquarie for some exploration.  I have been there before and it is lots of fun with heaps of smells and stuff to sniff …

There is water to check out …

and lots of space to run in.

We stayed there so long, it was dark when we left.

Luckily HH remembered to bring the magic present Aunty Snail-Lover gave us some time ago, ’cause we were very thirsty by the time we finished.  She got it from somewhere overseas while she was on holiday.

We had lots of fun and we were both very tired when we got home.  It’s great knowing that Molly is staying with us forever …  maybe I don’t have to be as nice to her now!  

Nah … it’s ok … I don’t mind being a pillow really!

I was going to tell you all about the exploring Molly and I did at the beach on the weekend …  but I have just been told the news about Charlie The Big Dog going to the Rainbow Bridge.  

Charlie The Big Dog was the first Dog Blog TBU came across when he was thinking about starting mine. He told me all about him.  I always looked up to him … after all .. he was THE BIG Dog! I am very proud to share his name. 

I would like to dedicated this moving picture to the memory of  CHARLIE-CHUCK-CHUCKSIE BUX-C$-LABRADORO BIONICO …..

… playing in My Yard with Molly all day …

… this is how I like to watch television … so My Bi-Peds can’t tell that I am tired …

… but I find the commercials really boring …

… and usually fall asleep … then I get busted and everyone knows I wasn’t really concentrating on the Television at all!

Oh yeah!  Where was the camera when we were outside today huh!!!

I haven’t been sleeping very well lately …

I keep trying to figure out what has changed with Molly …

I went outside to see if I could find what was missing …

I even checked the ground where she usually eats her food just to make sure My Bi-Peds hadn’t slipped something into her food …

But I still can’t quite figure it out … I mean … she even smells different since she went to the Dog Doctor a few days ago!  

She is certainly looking a lot better …

But I just can’t figure it out!
