My back legs have been really hurting lately … For a while I thought they were getting better … but now they just hurt most of the time.  

I should tell you straight up … this post is mainly about me …  so there will be lots of pics of me and not many of Molly!  

I have still managed to go out exploring when ever HH & TBU find the time to take me … but I am very sore when I get home … sometime I even find it difficult to stand up when I have been laying down for a while!  

I am only two and a half years old … I shouldn’t hurt like this already should I?  

HH & TBU were thinking of maybe getting an AdiCell treatment for me … but it looks like it may cost too much money!  

Has anyone heard of any reports for this treatment, or know of anyone who had had it?

Anyway … as I was saying before … I still manage to go exploring …

The last time Molly and I went, our friends Roy and Lilly came with us … and guess what?  This time those Big Dog Things were in the paddock … and Molly just couldn’t resist staring at them …

That is Lilly you can see in the front .. I have no idea what she was staring at!  

But I made sure I kept an eye on her … I mean .. those Big Dog Things are much larger than her …

… and when she got a bit too close to them, Roy and I had to chase them away!  

Of course Molly is much bigger … so I didn’t have to watch over her as much.

Oh yeah .. before I go … I must tell you about something I didn’t actually see … because we weren’t allowed to go … but recently … when Disco Dynamo drove TBU, Moo, Pumpkin and Captain Redneck to see this …

…  they noticed a Horse caught in a fence … so Disco Dynamo and Captain Redneck (who both work for TBU & HH) immediately stopped the car and came to the rescue!   

I am very proud of them for doing that.

Oh!  and one more thing … sometimes … when we have been really good … we are allowed to come into the bar when it is closed at night … and sit by the fire!  Oops .. I mean check that everything is secure!  

We do a great job don’t you think?

Yesterday HH, TBU, Moo and Pumpkin had an adventure …

They travelled to see the place with the green roof again … though I am still not supposed to say anymore about that place in case I jinx the whole thing …  but Molly and I think we would like it to be our new home (well from what we have been told about it anyway!)

I mean … look at this … obviously Pumpkin and Moo had lots of fun …

I think Pumpkin was helping  Moo to travel fast enough so that spinny thing on his head could help him to fly!

When they came home, we could tell they had been somewhere interesting ’cause they all had a particularly … umm .. how can I say this nicely … umm … rural … nah … country … nah … bovine … nah …. cow dung  smell about them!

They said they saw some exciting things … like this …

… and they also told me they saw some big cows!  Hey I am a part Cattle Dog … how come I couldn’t see them for myself?  I mean … I may soon be living near them … I reckon it would be a good idea if I introduced myself to them don’t you?

I would just walk up and say … “Hi Mr Cattle dude” …

… on second thoughts … maybe I would just yell it from a distance …

Do they ever stand still with all their feet on the ground?  They look a bit scary to me …  In fact … if they greet everyone like the one in this moving picture … I think I might stay away from them …  Perhaps there is less Cattle Dog in me than first thought!

Nah … I think I should be a Horse Dog instead … they look much less threatening!

Anyway … My Bi-Peds said we couldn’t go with them because dogs weren’t allowed.  I reckon that stinks!

But if that was the rule … what was this doing there?

Yeah I know he is cute … but he looks like a dog to me!

So … that’s why there are no pics of Molly and I today!

Today we had lots of fun playing in OUR yard!  

I am told I have to call it OUR yard now that I have to share everything!  

I made sure Molly knows that when WE are on patrol, we have to check the cats next door stay in their yard …

I decided to have a bit of a rest and watch her patrol OUR yard all on her own so I could see if she had been paying attention …

She seemed to do a pretty good job!  

Molly is now officially a part of the family … and in her honour I have allowed TBU to change the name of this blog from “A Dog Named Charlie” to “Charlie & Molly Daniels” … of course my name still comes first ’cause I have been here longer than her … but from now now .. this will be the story of OUR lives! 

To celebrate this huge occasion,  I asked My Bi-Peds if we could take her to Lake Macquarie for some exploration.  I have been there before and it is lots of fun with heaps of smells and stuff to sniff …

There is water to check out …

and lots of space to run in.

We stayed there so long, it was dark when we left.

Luckily HH remembered to bring the magic present Aunty Snail-Lover gave us some time ago, ’cause we were very thirsty by the time we finished.  She got it from somewhere overseas while she was on holiday.

We had lots of fun and we were both very tired when we got home.  It’s great knowing that Molly is staying with us forever …  maybe I don’t have to be as nice to her now!  

Nah … it’s ok … I don’t mind being a pillow really!

I was going to tell you all about the exploring Molly and I did at the beach on the weekend …  but I have just been told the news about Charlie The Big Dog going to the Rainbow Bridge.  

Charlie The Big Dog was the first Dog Blog TBU came across when he was thinking about starting mine. He told me all about him.  I always looked up to him … after all .. he was THE BIG Dog! I am very proud to share his name. 

I would like to dedicated this moving picture to the memory of  CHARLIE-CHUCK-CHUCKSIE BUX-C$-LABRADORO BIONICO …..

We both woke up at the usual time this morning, but for some reason HH & TBU were a little slower than us!

So, I decided I was going to play a little trick on Molly. I told her that she might encounter The Bich today! As the sun was shining this morning for the first time in many days, I thought we might finally be able to let Molly encounter something I believe she had never encountered before …  The Bich!

My plan worked, and when we finally arrived, she appeared to be completely overcome by all the new things she had not experienced before …

Yep, we took Molly to The Bich …

You may notice that Molly is on leash, yet I am not. That’s because Molly was a little freaked out by all the new smells, and all the sounds and all the space to run in. I have been there many times before so I am used to it … but she just wanted to keep running and running and running and running …

I just let her experience this great place for herself … but kept a close eye on her at all times …

and gave her support when she needed it …

OK, so the truth is, I mostly just followed her around in case she found something interesting I hadn’t noticed before!

She thought this was pretty … I wasn’t so impressed … it must be a girl thing!

I think she enjoyed her first encounter with The Bich … maybe she won’t be so nervous next time!

I was really looking forward to moving to Denman, but it looks as if I won’t be doing it now! 

My Heart is definitely in the country, but it looks like my butt will remain in the city for a while longer … HH & TBU are still looking to secure me a new home with them somewhere else … but until then … I just hope they can afford to keep feeding me … oh! and Molly too ! 

Molly still isn’t officially my new sister … we are still trying to pay the bills for all the damage she has done around My Place … but hopefully we can do that soon … and then we can afford to officially make her one of My Family! 

I know you have really only seen pics of us sleeping lately …

… but the reason for that is … during the day … we spend lots of time outside … playing … and running … and playing … and ….

… well, see what I mean … we need our sleep at night time!
